2. UPSC PRELIMS TEST SERIES (GS + CSAT)
HIGHLIGHTS:

Total number of tests: 27 which includes 16 Topics-wise Tests + 4 Revision Tests + 2 Strategic Revision Tests + 6 Mock Tests.

Revision Tests- Revision is inevitable to become successful in Civil Services Examination. To inculcate the habit of revision. 4 Revision Tests will be conducted and each after three Topics -wise tests.

Strategic Revision Tests: These tests serve two objectives ·

Based on priority, certain topics mandate repeated and focused revision due to their attached significance toward the examination. ·

Dividing the syllabus and corresponding revisions ensure confidence & motivations in your preparation

Tests will be held on [9:30 AM to 11:30 AM] (General Studies) & 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM (CSAT), followed with discussion by the respective faculty.

Test orientation will be given.

Answer Keys with detailed explanations will be provided immediately after the discussion.

Additional 100 questions will be provided after each Topics-wise Tests to ensure comprehensive preparation.

Additional one Full syllabus question paper will be provided after the final test.

Answer Sheets will be evaluated and marks will be displayed within a week.

Note:

Each Test carries 100 questions.

Each Question carries 2 Marks.

Each Test has 25 Current Affairs questions. The details are enclosed in the schedule.

There will be negative marking for every wrong answers. One-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
Instructions:

The candidates are required to enter the examination hall 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination.

The candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to roll number, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.

The candidates will not be admitted to the examination if they report 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the examination.

Mobile Phones, calculators, IT Gadgets, and any other Communication devices such as Bluetooth etc. are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any Infringements of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations

There will be a penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective-type question papers.

The candidates should note that answers other than those made by black ballpoint pen would not be evaluated.

The candidates are advised not to bring any valuables/costly items and bags to the examination halls, as safekeeping of the same cannot be assured. The Institute will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

After finishing the test, the candidate should not enter the exam hall until the last time gets over and candidates are permitted to enter inside.

No discussion, what so ever can be held inside the examination hall by the candidate. In case of any such activity seen from a candidate, his/her paper will not be evaluated.

Wrong marking, extra shading and any such marking other than the permitted shading will lead to non-evaluation of the respective question.
